Winter Open House, with Special Guest Artist
Mobile Secretary of State Driver Services Event
Dear Friends Over the past year, I have been incredibly fortunate to serve as your representative in Springfield; I could not be more grateful to be trusted with this opportunity. While our community has faced challenges during this time, I know that we will always be stronger when we listen to one another and work together. During my term thus far, we have passed landmark legislation on everything from telehealth medicine to environmental protections. We have fortified our state’s financial house, garnering multiple credit ratings upgrades and saving hundreds of millions of dollars in interest payments. We have set the foundation for Illinois to be the premier location for electric vehicle production, bringing the economic multiplier effect of thousands of new jobs to the state. Even more important is our work in our district office: Since January, we have hosted 45 community events, served over 1,300 constituents at their door, plus delivered almost 1,000 Covid vaccine doses across three vaccine clinics. I would not have been able to be successful in any of these endeavors without the many thoughtful community members who have worked with us, sharing their thoughts and attending my community events. I have learned so much from those who brought their experiences and expertise to discuss what more we, as a community, can do to move our state forward. There’s still much more work to be done. I commit to keep working with everyone in our community to bring about positive changes that will improve our economy, fight climate change, and secure a better and brighter future for all. I wish everyone a happy holiday season and encourage anyone with suggestions or ideas to continue contacting my office by visiting www.repyangrohr.com. Stay safe and stay well, Janet
Winter Open House, with Special Guest Artist Senator Laura Ellman and I hope to chat with you at our winter open house, which we’re hosting at our office, tomorrow morning at 10 am. We’re especially excited to see you because we’ve recently been working with the Naperville Art League to bring a rotating selection of art by local area artists! Tomorrow, we’ll be joined by Naperville artist Robert Koch, who’s agricultural and landscape paintings resonate deeply with our area’s agricultural heritage. They also speak to Illinois’ critical role supplying food around the world.
When: Saturday, December 18 Time: 10:00 to 11:00 am Where: 475 River Bend, Suite 500, Naperville (around back of building)
Mobile Secretary of State Driver Services Event
Back by popular demand, Senator Ellman and I are working with the Secretary of State’s Office to host a mobile driver services event at the 95th Street Naperville Public Library.
The event will offer many of the services offered at a regular DMV office, including renewal or correction of a driver’s license, state ID cards, license plate stickers, motor voter registration, and organ donor registration. Real ID compliant driver’s licenses and ID cards must be processed at a driver service facility, and individuals will not be able to process Real ID’s at this event. Those age 75 and up also need to visit a regular DMV in order to renew a driver’s license, and proper identification will be needed for the above services.
When: Wednesday, January 5, 2022
Time: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Where: Naperville Public Library, Nichols Branch, 200 W. Jefferson Ave., Naperville
