School Safety Event; Town Hall Recording

In This Issue:

  • School Safety: Behind the Scenes Event

  • In Case You Missed It: Townhall Recording

Dear Friends, Heading into the holidays, I want to wish you and your families a Happy Thanksgiving! As so many of us prepare to gather with family and friends to break bread, reconnect, and take stock of our blessings, I’m incredibly thankful for the privilege of representing our community and working with so many colleagues and community members who are trying to make our world a better place for all of us. One area where I’ve seen a need for more peace of mind and information has been around school safety. That’s why on Monday, November 29, I’ll be hosting a School Safety: Behind the Scenes event. We’ll be joined by community partners from our local school districts, plus law enforcement and state’s attorney offices to learn how they work collaboratively for the safety of our community. We also recently held our district town hall, where we covered the legislative and constituent services highlights throughout the past year. The recording is available on Facebook Live (no need for a Facebook account to watch it). As always, please never hesitate to reach out if there’s any way I or my office can be of service to you. Sincerely, Janet

In Case You Missed It: Townhall Recording

On November 10, we held a town hall to review our district’s major objectives and key results from Springfield and our community’s constituent services office. You can view the town hall in its entirety on Facebook (no Facebook account is required to view):

I developed these objectives with your input, based on what you told me matters most to you. Below are some of the key results within each objective that I discussed in detail during the town hall. Please call or send me a note if there are other areas you think need more attention. You can alway find the current listing of past and present event via our district's website: www.RepYangRohr.com/events.
