Dear Friends, Heading into the holidays, I want to wish you and your families a Happy Thanksgiving! As so many of us prepare to gather with family and friends to break bread, reconnect, and take stock of our blessings, I’m incredibly thankful for the privilege of representing our community and working with so many colleagues and community members who are trying to make our world a better place for all of us. One area where I’ve seen a need for more peace of mind and information has been around school safety. That’s why on Monday, November 29, I’ll be hosting a School Safety: Behind the Scenes event. We’ll be joined by community partners from our local school districts, plus law enforcement and state’s attorney offices to learn how they work collaboratively for the safety of our community. We also recently held our district town hall, where we covered the legislative and constituent services highlights throughout the past year.
